“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” – Lou Holtz

knee therapyAt The Woodlands Physical Therapy Centre, our priority is to provide pain relief, to restore joint and muscle function, to prevent injury and re-injury, and to promote healing for our patients in a compassionate manner.

Since no two conditions are similar, our physical therapists will work closely with each patient and their physician to develop a treatment plan that is specifically tailored to meet the patient’s needs. We provide our rehabilitation services in a pleasant, relaxed environment that puts our clients at ease.

Our treatment services include:

Occupational Therapy.
We provide occupation-based exercises and activities intended to help the patient resume self-care capabilities and normal daily life.
Splint Care.
The purpose of splinting is to manage pain, to protect a joint(s), to maximize mobility, to maintain/increase the range of motion, and to regain daily living function. Our therapists can provide you with specific instructions about proper splint care.
Physical Therapy.
Using effective, evidence-based treatments, our physical therapists can offer treatment for a broad range of conditions affecting your body’s ability to function effectively. We treat conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, neck injuries, sports-related injuries, muscle strains and sprains, post-operative care, and neurologic disorders – just to name a few.
Knee Rehab.
Knee pain can be caused by an injury (i.e. falling, twisting) or general “wear and tear” (i.e. tendonitis, osteoporosis). Whether you need knee rehabilitation or therapy, our physical therapists will help relieve your pain and get you mobile again.
Hand Therapy.
Our hand therapists provide rehabilitation to the entire upper limb, including the elbow, shoulder, arm, wrist, and hand. It can be used to treat different conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, wrist fractures, ulnar sided wrist pain, elbow fractures, and more.
Shoulder Rehab.
Shoulder pain can be brought on by different factors, such as sports-related injuries, sleeping in the wrong position, or general “wear and tear”. We offer shoulder rehab services to treat shoulder injuries, such as rotator cuff tears, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, dislocated shoulder, and more.
Hip Rehab.
Following a hip injury or surgery, physical therapy will help to restore joint strength and motion. Our therapists can teach you how to safely walk with crutches or a walker, go up and down a step, move around, get out of bed, and other daily activities.
Ankle and Foot Rehab.
Ankle and foot pain can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as arthritis, tendinitis, strains, heel spurs, and other chronic conditions. Through our ankle and foot rehab, we will help you get back on your feet by reducing your foot pain and other related symptoms.
Spine Rehab
Our spine rehabilitation service involves the treatment of impairments, which may include limitations or pain, within the neck and back. We also deal with the effect it may have on the hips and extremities. Our spine rehab includes treatments, such as movement retraining, postural correction, manual therapy for soft tissue and joint, progressive exercises, and more.
